LABELS AND SUBSTRATE FOR HP INDIGO PRESSES
We have the specific digital
substrate and film
you need for your HP Indigo press.
But the best substrate won't work properly if it's not treated properly.
The FAQs below will help you get the most out of your HP Indigo substrate
and labels.
| SUBSTRATE FAQS |
What is the proper way
to store digital paper? Can we use just-delivered media straight
out of the truck to feed into our HP Indigo press?
No - the reaction between the substrate and its environment
may adversely affect quality and cause printing problems such
as jams. Allow paper to acclimate in the pressroom 24 hours
before printing.
What temperature and humidity should
we store our labels and substrates at?
HP specifies 70 degrees F and 45% humidity for Indigo pressrooms.
How important is maintaining a constant
temperature and humidity?
Sudden environment changes can have adverse effects on ink transfer,
ink adhesion and imaging product life.
What should we do if the pressroom
climate meets specs, but we're still experiencing these problems?
If you've gone through everything and are still experiencing
problems, collect some samples and give our expert customer
service staff a call at 800-673-1413. They would be happy to
help you troubleshoot the situation.
